Assistant Hotel General Manager (with accounting focus)
Job Summary

This role requires a strong foundation of accounting procedures.

In this role as Assistant General Manager, you’ll support the General Manager in driving the seamless daily operations of our hotel. You will take on a leadership role, overseeing multiple departments (excluding Sales & Marketing and HR), and ensuring cohesive teamwork across functions, while also contributing to financial management.

Responsibilities
  • Financial Oversight: Manage financial operations, monitor departmental budgets, and report on profitability and stability.
  • Department Coordination: Serve as the main contact for department heads, providing guidance and ensuring aligned goals.
  • Employee Engagement: Foster a positive work environment through mentorship and open communication.
  • Goal Tracking: Collaborate with department heads to set, monitor, and achieve departmental objectives.
  • Guest Experience: Uphold high standards of quality and safety, enhancing the guest experience.
Experience
  • Proven track record of success in a leadership role, such as Assistant General Manager, Director of Operations, or Director of Rooms.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in the hospitality industry.
  • Brand experience is a plus.

Qualifications
  • College degree, or a combination of education and experience equivalent to a college degree, providing the necessary knowledge, skills, and abilities.
